About
Founders CNC

Practical Machine Tool Expertise—From Diagnosis Through Verification

Founders CNC helps manufacturers repair, retrofit, calibrate, and maintain CNC machine tools. Andy Moore founded the company in October 2015 after five years as a U.S. Air Force avionics technician and eight years at Ellison. Since then, our team has completed approximately 3,200 service jobs across mechanical, electrical, control, and machine-geometry work.

Our promise is the same one we started with: “We Fix It Til’ It’s Fixt.” That means we do more than clear an alarm. We identify the cause, complete the repair, and verify the machine is ready to return to production.

What We Do

Request service

How a Service Call Works

  1. Tell us what the machine is doing

Send the machine make, model, serial number, control type, alarm information, and a description of what happened before the problem appeared. Photos or short videos can help us prepare.

  2. Assess and define the work

A scheduled estimating visit may be provided at no charge when agreed in advance. When a customer needs a technician dispatched for diagnosis or service, the visit carries a four-hour labor minimum plus travel.

  3. Approve the estimate

We provide an estimate for the recommended work and identify required parts when they can be determined in advance. Andy Moore remains involved in reviewing and scoping quoted repairs, while the appropriate Founders CNC representative performs the onsite work.

  4. Repair, measure, and verify

Our technicians complete the approved work and verify the result with the measurement and diagnostic equipment appropriate to the machine.

A Team Built Around Machine Tools

One team across mechanical, electrical, control, and geometry work.

Our six-person team brings approximately 70 years of combined experience to customer equipment. That range matters: a machine problem may cross mechanical alignment, electrical systems, feedback devices, drives, controls, welding, or fabrication. Keeping those disciplines together reduces handoffs and helps us follow the problem to its source.

Founders CNC is a HEIDENHAIN approved dealer, Retrofit Partner, authorized service provider, and factory-trained company. We also service machines equipped with Siemens, FANUC, and Mitsubishi controls.

Prepared for Industrial Service

Founders CNC maintains Dun & Bradstreet and SAM.gov registrations and carries $5 million in umbrella liability coverage. Our technicians receive safety training covering lockout/tagout, personal protective equipment, ladder use, and work at height.

Frequently Asked Questions

What information should I have when I call?

Have the machine make, model, serial number, control type, alarms, and a short timeline of the problem ready. If the machine crashed, include what moved and whether any tooling, fixtures, or workholding was damaged.

Which control brands do you service?

We work with HEIDENHAIN, Siemens, FANUC, and Mitsubishi controls, along with the mechanical, electrical, drive, feedback, and geometry systems surrounding them.

Do you provide onsite service?

Yes. Our technicians travel to customer facilities. Some control, drive, and connectivity problems may first be evaluated remotely when safe access is available.

Is your work warranted?

Founders CNC provides a 30-day labor warranty. New and refurbished parts carry the applicable manufacturer or supplier warranty.
